Take the road to St Jean d'Y (D650), exit Niort, about 1km after the ring road, on the left there is a road and just after a stop on the edge of the wood. You can park here and enter the wood. Other woods just behind accessible on foot or by taking the street wood Chiron. The world almost always mostly men. Muddy after rain and full of mosquitoes in summer!
