Access is via the wooden footbridge; take the stairs next to the statue. Then, either directly opposite, going down, you can make your way to the tip of the island where you're fairly hidden by the vegetation. Or, for the less adventurous, or on busy days, it's possible to find a more secluded spot in the woods, provided you're willing to walk a little further.

Behind the Roque de thau wastewater treatment plant, a nice car park with a view of the estuary. A small path runs along the river. Uncrowded during the day and totally empty after dark. Ideal for meeting in nature.

To the left of the Menhir Point parking lot, take the path downhill after the orientation table. The Blockhouse will be on your right, overlooking a magnificent panorama of Douarnenez Bay. Under the "rabbit" (a nickname for the bunker), there's a chance to take shelter and perhaps engage in some quick sex during peak season. A superb spot.
