On the upstream tip of Île Saint-Louis, opposite 3 Boulevard Henri IV, between the two sections of the Pont de Sully, very close to the Sully-Morland metro station (Line 7). The gates remain open in the evening. During the week, the lights are switched off very early; on Saturdays and Sundays, they stay on very late. In mild weather, there is a lot of foot traffic heading towards the riverbanks, which are a popular spot for festive drinking, but since the access staircase is in the middle of the square, the far end (the tip) remains fairly quiet.
