Thanks for your great explanations. As for me, I'll be staying in Sète, so the car package won't be very useful.
Personally, I use the car pass for 15 days and I've never been asked for my federation card. Parking spaces before the access point are quite limited. If you park beforehand, access isn't complicated. Once you've passed the checkpoint (5 to 10 minutes depending on where you parked), you cross the parking lot to the left and you'll find the access towards Héliopolis. Go past the building and you'll find the path that runs alongside the campsite, with the Bay of Pigs at the end.
I may have asked a few too many questions, but since it's 3.5 hours from my place... I didn't want to go for nothing.
Thanks for replying. Paying the access fee isn't a problem, and it's not excessive at all for pedestrians. Is it a hassle getting to the beach after parking? I read on one website that you have to show your nudist federation card randomly, but I doubt it since other websites don't mention it.
Hello, you can park before but you'll still have to pay for pedestrian access. Or you can park at Marseillan Plage and access the Baie des Cochons via the Avenue des Campings and the beach; that's what many people do.
Finally, my main question concerns the car. Is it better to park before the naturist village or elsewhere?
Hello. Is it mandatory to get an access card for the naturist village to access the Bay of Pigs?
