Huge wild wood in Merignac, enough family during the day and especially on weekends, but very quiet at night, plenty of places ... Some nice meetings but this is rare anyway! Length of the Sports Park (2.5 km). The outline of the wood is a highway joggers. The inner aisles of the wood are much quieter (rare walkers) prefer them. Parties prefer to hang (as more isolated and dense): the wild wood (side barracks firefighters, it is between Avenue François Mitterand and vineyards) and "the familiar wood" (see maps in the wood). Pick up your garbage rot if want to continue to enjoy this place. There are many trash cans.

On the D733 (towards Rochefort Royan) exit towards Pont l'Abbé d'Arnoult (2nd exit allowed for lorries of over 10 tonnes). A then end of this exit ramp take the opposite path in the woods. Are you there, dredge both sides in wood. In the other direction (Rochefort-Royan) take st jeans steering angle and the abbot of arnoult bridge, the D18, pass under the 737 and just after the slip road towards Rochefort and take the path in the wood.
